Arkady Zgonnikov from TU Delft is visiting our Institute this week. His visit started with a lab tour and discussion about cognitive modeling and haptic interfaces in human-robot interaction. Today, Arkady Zgonnikov gave a talk on cognitive modeling for HRI in traffic and beyond.

Stella Hao and Adna Bliek visited the Spring School on Cognitive Modeling at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. They learned about different cognitive architectures, such as ACT-R, Nengo, and PRIMS, and listened to research talks about applications of cognitive modeling.

Last week Philipp Beckerle and Stella Hao met up with the project partners Nele Rußwinkel and Daniel Häufle to brainstorm and discuss future ideas together.

The Chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics welcomes Stella Chenxu Hao. Stella has a background in psychology (cognition & cognitive neuroscience) and will work on fusing models of physical and cognitive human-robot interaction.
