Philipp Beckerle visited Heidelberg and Darmstadt University

Philipp Beckerle visited Lorenzo Masia at the University of Heidelberg. He held a seminar there on “Wearable Robotics: Pushing Experience and Interaction with Human-centered Methods”.

The following day, Philipp Beckerle met with Andre Seyfarth and gave an exercise on human-centered design for the graduate program LokoAssist (GRK 2761, funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). He also met Sven Herold from the Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF.

He also gained exciting insights at two startup companies: COMPREDICT with Stéphane Foulard and Dr. Rafael Fietzek. core sensing GmbH with Sven Vogel and Markus Hessinger.

And finally, Maziar Sharbafi, Joachim Vogt and Jan Peters, as well as many students and researchers, welcomed him to his Almamater.
