Last Monday to Wednesday, Adna Bliek lead an excursion for students of the lecture Human-centered Robotics and Mechatronics by Philipp Beckerle from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg to Czech Technical University in Prague to meet the Humanoid and cognitive robotics team by Matej Hoffmann.

The students were introduced to the work of the Humanoid and cognitive robotics team by Matej Hoffmann, toured the labs of different robotics teams, learned about the research of event-driven perception for robots in a talk by Giulia D’Angelo, and experienced bodily illusions such as the rubber hand illusion in a workshop by Sergiu T. Popescu and Valentin Marcel.

The excursion was funded by the Bayerisch-Tschechische Hochschulagentur as part of the funding program ” Bayerisch-Tschechische akademische Projekte 2023″.
