Cristian is a doctoral candidate of the Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology at the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest since October 2022. He is currently visiting  the Biomechanical Motion Analysis and Creation (BioMAC) group at the Chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from October 2025 until August 2026, currently working on Video Analysis of Sports Climbing using Human Pose Estimation methods.

Cristian received his bachelor’s degree in Medical Engineering from the National University for Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest in 2019 and his master’s degree in Advanced Microelectronics at the faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology at the National Unviersity for Science and Tehnology Politehnica Bucharest in 2021. The main subject of his thesis was Hospital Indoor Localisation and Navigation using Wireless Communication Technologies.
