Markus is a doctoral candidate in the Biomechanical Motion Analysis and Creation (BioMAC) group at the Chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg since October 2021. He is currently working on machine learning for the personalization of movement simulations.

Markus received his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from TU Munich in 2018 and his master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from FAU in 2021.
