Marius Kindermann is a doctoral candidate at the chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics of FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg since October 2025. Currently, he is working on the DFG funded project „Synergy Based Model Predicitve Control for Robotic Hand-Arm Systems”.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics in 2023 and his Master’s degree in Medical engineering majoring in Medical Robotics in 2025 from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. His master thesis in cooperation with the Institute of Spors Sciens at the University of Innsbruck had the topic “Estimation of muscle forces durging high-intensity change-of-direction movements with a focus on knee injury prevention”.

Research interest: human robot interaction, intent detection, bio signal analysis, assistive and rehabilitative robotic
