Marius Kindermann is a doctoral candidate at the chair of Autonomous Systems and Mechatronics at the Department Electrical-Electronic-Communication Engineering of FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg since October 2025. Currently, he is working on the DFG funded project „Synergy Based Model Predicitve Control for Robotic Hand-Arm Systems”.

He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics in 2023 and his Master’s degree in Medical engineering majoring in Medical Robotics in 2025 from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. His master thesis in cooperation with the Institute of Spors Sciens at the University of Innsbruck had the topic “Estimation of muscle forces durging high-intensity change-of-direction movements with a focus on knee injury prevention”.

Research interest: human robot interaction, intent detection, biosignal processing, assistive and rehabilitative robotic
